Greg Barnes ~ Pastor

A Baltimore native, Pastor Greg was raised in the church and introduced to the Lord as a child. However, he did not accept Jesus as his personal Savior and Lord until his early twenties. During an Easter Sunday Service he felt the presence of God and in that moment he truly understood that he was a sinner who was lost and destined for death. The Holy Spirit led him to respond to the altar call and he gave his life to Christ.

PG, as he is affectinately called, has many verses that speak to him that he truly loves. One verse that resonates with him is James 1:5 "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him."  Greg knows that wisdom is priceless because true wisdom comes from God.

Supported by his wife, Chanelle, Pastor Greg's mission is leading people to meet and fall in love with Jesus Christ so that they come to know Him as their Lord and Savior. His vision for ministry at Love Light City Church is to raise up a community of believers who are committed to serving Christ, engaging the community with love and equipping disciples to do the Lord's work within the community and beyond.
